A common complaint regarding the iPhone is it's shorter than expected battery life.  Steven Levy acknowledged this recently during his first full day of using the iPhone 3G and made an outstanding point: We all know the iPhone battery life isn't as long as we'd like it to be.  But why is this such a problem for us?  Because we actually want to use the iPhone all the time.  Much more than a simple cell phone, the iPhone beckons us to perform all sorts of tasks.

What I love about Steven's article is his alternate perspective on the situation.  I think this is the important part.

Sometimes all a situation needs is a different perspective from you.  Walk to the other side of the room and take a look.  How does it look now?
