You want to be comfortable but not too comfortable. Too comfortable may encourage you to become lazy, slow, and unmotivated. You may gradually stop yearning to innovate and learn. You may just settle.
And if you settle, you become like every other company on your block. Happy with the hum drum, the average, the grey walls, the drop ceilings, the cubes.
Are you too comfortable?

Couldn't agree more Tim. When we become TOO content with where we are, we lose our drive and motivation to do more and be better human beings. It's those who don't settle, who don't get 'too comfortable' that rise about the rest and become the innovators.
At the same time - we don't have to always strive for more. Part of life is being able to take a step back and 'enjoying the ride'. Keep the wheels in motion, don't come to a complete stop, but slow down and enjoy the ride from time to time.
